Visual UI Designers at Amplify will be creative leaders working across the user experience domain, including research (UI examples, visual inspiration), design (sketching, group ideation, visual design, prototyping), and implementation. The successful candidate will drive a stunning and inventive visual direction for the product. Responsibilities of Lead Visual UI Designer: Gather UI inspiration from a wide variety of sources Design user interfaces from broad-stroke paradigms to detailed element states Produce mood boards, storyboards, design comps, and design specifications Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually Help manage the interactive design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes UX designers, project managers, product strategists, and developers Requirements of Lead Visual UI Designer: Must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years experience developing interactive products as an Interface Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or similar role Proactive and creative problem solving skills with an intellectual interest in current and new technologies and techniques Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through Ability to convey design and design decisions effectively both visually and verbally to varied audiences Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and collegiality Mobile experience a plus Must have portfolio available for review.
