Kier Ltd is currently seeking an IT Delivery Analyst to provide a wide range of IT support to Kier Companies. This position will be based in Tempsford Hall, Sandy, Bedfordshire. This role is a based on a fixed term contract expected to run for 3 months. Requirements: This role requires an enthusiastic and committed individual with high quality, broad ranging technical experience and a strong sense of customer service focus coupled with a can do attitude and team player ethos. Responsibilities: To provide I.T. support to the Kier offices, including desktop, server and network technologies Working independently while part of a larger team, supporting a shared customer base of construction sites and Kier office locations Desktop, server, application and network support across locations in the company to agreed service levels as part of the IT department Working with the IT service desk take responsibility for ensuring the support service level agreements are maintained for the business Ensure that procedures for guaranteeing security, integrity and consistency of data adhered to. Resolve user or business technical problems in conjunction with the service desk and other IT functional areas Work with other staff in the IT delivery group and wider IT department to provide a consistent joined up IT service to end users Act as the public face or ambassador of the IT department to end users to remote locations The Individual/Essential experience & knowledge: Microsoft desktop environments in a distributed environment Windows server operating systems and applications Microsoft active directory including group policies Desktop applications including Microsoft Office 2003 Citrix knowledge Altris familiarity Desktop, laptop and printer hardware Knowledge and experience of WAN/LAN technologies PDA technology Multi - functional devices Strong Communication skills (verbal and written) Production of effective technical, system and user documentation Able to work unsupervised Ability to work on own initiative Liaison with third parties including suppliers Adherence to defined working procedures Understanding of ITIL processes Prepared to work away from home as required May need to be able to gain security clearance for secure sites May need to pass a CRB clearance Will need to maintain a driving licence
