Job Title: Design / Development Architect Expert – Click stream Duration: 12 Months contract on w2 with Strong possibility of extension Location: Atlanta, GA Candidate must be a US Citizen or Green card holder or EAD or Candidate who are willing to transfer H1 Visa. Glimpse of Responsibilities and Abilities This person will be responsible for architecting and developing our BI solution (linchpin on Click stream data) to include ETL, Data Warehouse Design, and Business Intelligence user experience. Working with the Product/Solution/Development/Test Managers to understand the complex business requirements and develop a scalable DW/BI offering that balances the functional business requirements with the technology capabilities. Creation of conceptual, logical and physical database models as well as process and data lineage diagrams. Responsible for ETL for various big data sources including Click stream Create Application design, High level Design based on customer requirements Ensure design meets the requirements. Source data analysis / profiling where necessary to support ETL design. Work closely with ETL developers to assist them with development life cycle. Ensure necessary metadata repositories are developed for all initiatives and ensure these meet current needs and provide flexibility for future growth. Ensure that documentation is created, meets standards, and is properly maintained according to established standards and procedures, to facilitate ongoing support and maintenance. Provide technical leadership and guide team members. Preferences Working knowledge of Informatica or other enterprise class ETL tool Working knowledge of relational databases (Teradata and Oracle 10g, 11g) Requirements Expert working knowledge of dimensional and relational modeling required. Expert data analysis skills required Understands Big Data Concepts and Experience with new generation technologies, such as Hadoop, HBase is a big plus Working knowledge of modeling tools - ERWIN is a plus Working knowledge of Teradata architecture highly desired Should be familiar with: Unix, SQL, Teradata SQL, Shell Scripting Knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing experience is a HUGE plus Proven experience designing the architecture of Data Warehousing and BI solutions in a multi-terabyte environment is a HUGE plus Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple initiatives MUST be open to relocation to Atlanta
