Materials Planner £25,000 to 28,000 (2 year Contract) Cambridge We are currently recruiting a materials planner for a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Cambridge. They are recruiting a materials planner to ensure the supply and review of all packaging and raw materials required for production and 3rd party produced packs. The successful materials resource planner will be expected to develop and maintain key internal processes required to ensure the supply of all MRP items. The key responsibilities for this materials planner role will include: • Review weekly stock levels of UK third party produced packs, and communicate where agreed to the relevant suppliers. • Ensuring the correct supplier relationship management (SRM): which involves leading/ coordinating business review meetings (BRM); supporting suppliers, internal customers and key stakeholders. • Request and review third parties' bulk and barcode label requirements and coordinate despatch of materials with internal departments. The successful materials planner should have the following experience: • Notable materials planning experience. • Experience of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). • Packaging experience. • Pharmaceutical background. In summary the ideal materials manager should have previous materials planning experience involving packaging within a pharmaceutical environment.
