Drupal Developer Washington, DC Drupal Developer Main duties and responsibilities: What the contractor will be doing on a day to day basis. The primary duties will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system. In addition, the responsibilities include: Design and develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code. Develop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniques. Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance. Requirements: Please state essential skill/s.- Minimum 4 – 5 years in system integration and development and package implementations About 2 years experience with the Linux, MySQL, PHP technology stack Minimum 1 year design and development experience with Drupal web content management solution (WCMS) Experience working with PHP and / or Drupal solutions in a cloud-based environment is desirable Familiar with SQL and / or experience with database technologies such as Oracle or MySQL Solid understanding of all parts of Software Engineering (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience with Object Oriented Technologies.
