Our client, a San Diego, California company, is looking for a contract to hire Systems Administrator. This person would be responsible for administering user accounts within Windows Active Directory environment and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly backups. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or combination, or education and related experience 2+ years of advanced system administration with platforms 5+ years of advanced system administration and/or software development Proficiency with network services such as; DHCP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, SMTP, etc Proficiency in the following systems and platforms: Windows Server, Exchange, IIS, VMware, Netbackup, Cisco VOIP Knowledge of using professional concepts and company's policies and procedures to solve a variety problems; works on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices; normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments Proficiency with SQL databases and SharePoint Proficiency with scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBS, Shell Scripting, .Net,) is highly desired Demonstrated experience designing, developing and implementing large-scale deployments in hosted production environments Demonstrated experience in common Enterprise Application Integration
