"Hyperion Essbase Developer" - at Duluth, GA duluth, GA Hi , Greetings from Computech Corporation, Job Title : Hyperion Essbase Developer Location : Duluth, GA Duration : 3-5 Months Job Description: Ensure timely design and execution of a key Hyperion Essbase applications in conjunction with key internal/external deadlines (e.g. monthly/quarterly reporting, budget | forecast activities) extending to the configuration and development of new reporting applications/tools. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment, and be able to work independently or as a member of a team, in a fast paced, dynamic environment supporting our business functions. Must have the ability to function in a very collaborative team environment of experienced Teradata data warehouse professionals. Responsibilities: • Work with Business Analysts and Finance internal customers to understand business requirements • Design, develop, test, and update reports: o Create various types of reports incorporating filters, conditions, calculations, cascading prompts, etc. • Train end-users (beginning and advanced), and work with end-users to facilitate expansion of self-service analytics and reporting • Provide assistance in troubleshooting Essbase related issues • Follow established data warehouse/business intelligence development, documentation, and release management procedures • Adhere to project schedules and report status to management • Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion Position Requirements - • Hyperion Planning 9.3 Applications Administrator Expert + Essbase 9.3 Developer Expert • 5 years hands-on development and administration experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase • Experience designing, developing and supporting all components of a Hyperion Planning | Essbase application (dimensions, data, input forms, business rules, calculation scripts, reports, security). • Strong knowledge and experience in finance and accounting functions (e.g., G/L, FP&A, accounting operations, portfolio accounting, regulatory reporting, etc.) • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills • Excellent presentation skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience in communicating with business partners at all levels, from analysts to executives Position Attributes - Fast-paced work environment requiring exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.
