This financial organisation is seeking an Application Architect to join the team based in Sydney for an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions. If successful you will be working in a team of experienced Architects on project work with major design and delivery responsibilities. You will be working in a fast paced environment with rapid application development, highly iterative design and build processes. To be considered for this role you will have Around 5+ years experience as an Architect, and 2+ years as an Application Architect Strong technical experience and understanding of business knowledge Strong skills in .NET technologies and ideally you will be familiar with Web Services, ASP.NET with strong database design skills including SQL and Oracle. Ability to develop conceptual models and process diagrams and a proven track record in software design including SOA and OO Design Previous experience working on large scale projects or in multi-project teams. A proven ability to engage with all levels of the business. Outstanding communication skills and consulting skills. A background in Financial Services would be highly regarded If successful you will be joining the team in the Western Sydney Office with restaurants, shops and public transport at your doorstep!
