Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for an Accounting II clerk with 3-7 years experience. This is a long term/possible temp to hire for the right candidate for our direct client in North Dallas. Responsible for one or more of the following activities: Checks and verifies records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May be responsible for a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. Process escheat payments to the states for unclaimed property. Monitor, research and re-class (if needed) balances booked to charitable contributions. Review annually Delegation of Authority (approval) roles and FI/CO SAP roles for all employee's.
