Our client an NHS organisation in the South east is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Commissioning & Contracting for an initial 3 month contract. The role will include * Supporting the Director of Commissioning within the NHS Trust. * Annual adults (acute & mental health) contract negotiation * Operating Plan, QIPP and provider performance management systems; * Adult services input to the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment on behalf of the Health and Wellbeing Board; * Close working with other Assistant Directors of Commissioning on the Service Redesign/Transformation Programme; * Input to relevant aspects of Joint Commissioning with, especially older people, discharge planning and unscheduled care; * Effective clinical and community engagement underpinning all strategies and delivery plans To be successful in this role it is important that you have an Commissioning and NHS background and demonstrable experience as an Assistant Director within the NHS Commissioning arena.
