I am looking for a Make-up Artist to come along and help me at various events in September. I run a busy Make-up business and need assistance with the larger parties, such as hen parties. The 2 dates I definitely need someone for are: - Saturday 22nd September - Saturday 29th September Both events in Brighton and likely to be 2-3 hours. You must be fully trained/qualified and insured. Experience not essential if just finished your training but must have a good standard and hygiene practices. I will ask you to complete a make-up to check these - it won't be scary though :-) Also I will ask to see copies of your certificate and insurance. There is likely to be further events so it would be great to have someone I can call on if available. I am happy to act as a mentor and for you to assist me and ask as many questions as necessary. For the 2 events listed, I can offer you £10 per hour - exact amount of hours to be advised. It is unlikely you will be completing full make-ups but bases and lips for example. You must have a good technical ability for liquid eyeliner. As this is a self employed freelance position, you will be responsible for paying your own taxes and NI. I am a nice friendly person to work with and so it would be really nice to have the same sort of assistant. I have over 5 years experience in the industry and so hopefully I can help you build up your skills, business and confidence. A kind N.B.
