Unique opportunity to join the communications function of a well known brand for a 9mth FTC maternity cover. The role: You'll work closely with the Communications and HR Directors with a remit that spans Internal Communications and, to a lesser degree, wider Corporate Communications. Primary responsibilities will be: - managing the upgrade of the corporate Intranet/SharePoint - assisting on CEO & HR Director messages - continuing to deliver on the ongoing Internal Comms strategy & plan - linking internal and external messaging - supporting profile raising and reputation enhancing communications externally - coordinating messages out to media and other stakeholders - assisting on CSR communications The role will provide exposure to all levels of internal stakeholder and also external parties, and will give the post holder the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of communications activities for a prominent organisation. About you: You will bring both breadth and depth of experience as a communications professional; perhaps from both in-house and agency, certainly from a variety of organisations. You will have strong intranet & SharePoint skills, both practical and in terms of managing changes to and development of the channel. You will also be a confident writer, a clear face to face communicator/influencer and will have a good grasp of how internal and external messaging links together. Experience of working for high profile brands and within small 'self-sufficient' teams would be a huge advantage. The role is a maternity cover, due to commence November.
