Direct Marketing Selections Analyst Financial Services Sector 3 + months contract role Up to £350 per day Bromley Location Our client a reputable insurance company is after an experience Direct Marketing Selections Analyst. This is a temporary contract role responsible for building and executing direct marketing campaign selections (DM and email) across all of the companies’ brands and products. A key responsibility for the role is to manage the campaign selections lifecycle. Key Deliverables Working with the campaign manager to agree requirements and produce a selections brief and timing plan for the campaign. Build and check the campaign selections process within the Single Customer View environment (Alterian Campaign Manager). Agree campaign volumes with the campaign manager. Extract campaign files and pass through supporting SAS-based processes (where required) to enhance the extract. Transfer files to the fulfilment house. Post-selections quality control/approval of data dumps and liver lasers. Additional ad hoc campaigns as required to support tactical test activity. Skills Financial services experience is a must. 2+ years of campaign selections management in a Marketing environment. Hands-on experience of campaign management/CRM tools e.g. Chordiant, Epiphany, Alterian Campaign manager. Experience with Alterian Campaign Manager is a definite plus. 2+ years of commercial SAS experience. This should include SAS Base and SAS Macro plus experience of extracting data from non-SAS environments (e.g. SQL Server). Experience of list generation and building robust and efficient product selections routines. Experience of managing stakeholders and small-scale analytical projects. SAS application development, e.g. SAS AF experience is desirable. SQL programming experience is a bonus. DB2 or mainframe programming experience is advantageous.
