Job Title - Quantity Surveyor Location - North West, Merseyside, Liverpool, St.Helens, Greater Manchester, Oldham, Stockport Sector - Civil Engineering (Rail) Duration - Freelance 6 - 12 Months Salary - �200 - �250 Per Day A leading main contractor with a history for delivering major, complex Civil Engineering projects is looking for an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to help with the post contract report. My client is currently providing multi-million pound combined frameworks and is heavily involved in railway networks. They have secured a major contract within the North West stretching across a wide area between Liverpool and Manchester. Roles/Duties - The successful candidate will report to the commercial manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be responsible for the commercial management, tendering, post contract report and final account hand over. * Ensure that a profiled forecast for the scope of work is produced in conjunction with the Programme Team * Ensure that analysis of construction estimates/order book/authorised cost are produced * Ensure that the post contract report of works is delivered with a high standard * Control all scheme commercial activities for project portfolio Skills/Experience - Candidate must have previous experience with civil engineering contractors working on projects within the railway sector and will also have previous experience with civil engineering main contractors. Qualifications - A degree or similar technical qualification with in Civil Engineering is preferred.
