THE ROLE: To purchase a defined range of components, in line with Purchasing departmental procedures and objectives, focusing on securing strong commercial terms and excellent quality and delivery service levels from our suppliers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manintain commodity strategies Analyse cost data and quotation analysis Drive contractural negotiations with clients both current and new Maintain strong postive suppluier relationships Manage supplier performance - look for continuous improvement THE IDEAL BUYER WILL HAVE: Previous buying experience in an automotive environment CIPS - or working towards CIPS Excellent communication and interpersonnal skills MUST HAVE FULL DRIVING LICENCE Please note you will receive an automated response advising you that we have received your CV.
