My client, a rising organisation in the eCommerce industry, has an immediate requirement for a skilled Front End Developer who is highly proficient with JavaScript. You will be predominately working on web applications however proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3 is a required. You will also need to be well versed with Agile systems and a background working for a startup is a huge bonus. Responsibilities: The roles and responsibilities include: - Understanding and clarifying the purpose of user stories generated by the business - Participation in the full lifecycle from early creative ideas through planning activities to estimate work, followed by designing and delivering quality front end code across multiple browsers and platforms on time according to a sprint plan - Input into architectural and design discussions - Mentoring junior team members in our near shore team in Bulgaria Minimum Qualifications: - Proven experience with beautiful, responsive web pages with significant client side functionality - Solid experience in cross-browser web front end development - HTML,JavaScript, CSS - Demonstrated hands-on ability - Experience working within a fast paced Agile environment - Proven problem solving ability - An interest in the latest web technologies, standards, frameworks and techniques - Proven delivery track record - Good communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues - Available to start ASAP This is a 6 month contract to start immediately.
