We are currently working on an exciting opportunity for a CAD technician to joining a planning and design consultancy in Bristol. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of staff in a large, modern, open plan office. We are looking for someone to join on a 6 month contract, there may be scope for progression into something more permanent but this will be looked at a later stage and will depend on workload. You will be working alongside Masterplanners and the Graphics Technician. You will ideally have at least one year's experience in either a design or landscape architecture practice and be competent in the following skills: AutoCAD 2009/2010 and CS3 Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator) and 3d software such as SketchUp and Web Design would be beneficial. There is good progression on offer for candidates with the ambition and aspiration to become a designer. There is also a competitive salary on offer.
