Our client is a leading Mechanical Engineering contractor delivering high value projects into the Power Generation Sector. Recently engaged to construct a new waste to energy plant in Sheffield, we now seek an experienced, hands on individual to join this high profile and strategically important project. Please note this is a 13 month fixed term contract Already experienced working on new construction sites and adept at ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of consumables and heavy construction materials, your duties will include: · Ensuring compliance with the projected forecasts and general milestones with regard to materials · Responsibility for the day to day planning with respect to project material requirements · Coordination and organisation of the materials dept. · Conformance with Quality and HSE procedures · Liaison with on site engineers to ascertain material requirements for off-site/ on site fabrication · Liaison with planner to ensure material compliance with the overall project plan This is a pivotal position within the organisation and we are looking for a proactive individual with sound communication skills who can hit the ground running.
