This person will support the accounting operations department by filing documents, reconciling statements and running software programs. Job Duties: Maintain accounting records by making copies; filing documents. Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger. Process incoming accounts payable invoices. Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups. Verify financial reports by running performance analysis software program. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Peachtree experience preferred but not required, must be proficient in Excel. Maintain excel spreadsheets, entering invoices into Peachtree. Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
