QC Environment Technician / Quality Control / Pharmaceuticals
Position: QC Environment Technician / Quality Control / Pharmaceuticals Rate: �11per hour Contract Length � 3 months QC Environment Technician / Quality Control Technician to support general microbiological environmental monitoring duties and project work relating to the clean room manufacturing areas at the Guildford site. QC Environment Technician / Quality Control / Pharmaceuticals: Key Duties: � To perform routine Environmental Monitoring duties within the cleanrooms in order to ensure the timely generation of accurate environmental data and information. � To ensure all activities follow standard operating procedures and/or protocols and, where appropriate, are performed in compliance with GMP. � To assist in the compilation of data and information for the preparation of reports generated by the microbiology cleanroom data. � To maintain all relevant documentation accurately, correctly and up to date. � To liaise with the contract testing laboratories to ensure samples arrive and tests are carried out to the required test methods. � To manage the supply of microbiological plate media supplied from the contract testing laboratories � To initiate and write new standard operating procedures and other documents/reports/protocols as and when required. � To perform project work for the development and validation of equipment, test procedures, processes and systems as directed. � To provide hands on support for environmental monitoring within cleanrooms to ensure the microbiological cleanliness of the cleanroom is maintained to the specified requirements. QC Environment Technician / Quality Control / Pharmaceuticals: Education and Experience � Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with good pass grades in English, Mathematics and Science. � Relevant higher education qualification e.g. degree, higher national certificate/diploma, in microbiology. � Understanding of GMP and working in a GMP environment � Computer literate. � Experience in a similar microbiology laboratory environment (desirable but not essential). QC Environment Technician / Quality Control / Pharmaceuticals: Skills and Attributes � Competent and organised with ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently � Ability to work closely with others, display good team spirit and demonstrate initiative when required. � A flexible and willing attitude with the desire to continually improve and develop � Strong listening skills with the ability to follow instructions and guidance. � Methodical, organised with an aptitude for detail.
