HR Manager
Are you an HR Manager with a desire to be part of the highest profile contract in 2012? Our client are experiencing exciting times and is proud to be the official security services provider to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our client is the world's leading security solutions group with operations in more than 120 countries and over 625,000 employees worldwide They require an experienced HR manager who is both pragmatic and commercial with substantial operational HR experience. You will lead and manage a team of field and centrally based HR Advisors and implement a central Management Advisory Team to deliver remote support to managers both at the Olympic venues and the accommodation units. What will the contract involve? • Lead and manage the Management Advice Team to deliver efficient and effective staff investigations, discipline and grievance follow up • Ensure employment compliance to internals as well as legal and external regulatory standards • Liaise with head of HR and operations to provide practical HR management support including support with training in application of ER procedures • Developing, collating and communicating monthly KPI reports. • Design and ensure Service Level Agreements are agreed and adhered to What skills and experience is required? • Experience of managing operational ER - the ability to work with a large volume of high priority tasks at pace, ideally within a service sector. • Experience of managing a central advisory support team would be advantageous • Sound understanding of the application of employment law in particular Grievance, Disciplinary & TUPE procedures • Track record in finding simple commercially and business focussed solutions to complex ER issues • Able to perform in a directed rather than a transactional environment • Flexibility and change orientation to adapt to demands • High commercial and achievement focus Contract term – ASAP to the end of September. (Primarily Monday to Friday but flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the games) Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 Pro rata Our client has appointed eSift as the resource partner who are managing this role on their behalf.
