Design - Eurocentres - Language learning worldwide needs a new website design
Organization name Eurocentres - language learning worldwide Description of the organization and its target audience Eurocentres - Language Learning Worldwide is one of the main players in language travel. Currently Eurocentres offers more than 30 language schools in 18 countries allowing people to learn English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese in the country where the language is actually spoken. Target group: 16-29 years old, above average income, worldwide (mainly Europe, Brazil, Asia) Industry Education Existing website to reference www.eurocentres.com Number of pages needed 1 Page descriptions We would like you to design Eurocentres blog page based on Wordpress platform. Blog Specification: 1. Branding: Consistent with our main website - www.eurocentres.com (but a bit more dynamic, slick, young as this is a blog for young adults), facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/eurocentres) and Eurocentres promo video (http://vimeo.com/46394183). Use our logo (black-red-white dot) quite often. 2. Content: a.) Header – similar to our header on the main website (but taller), add some more pictures and a place for our video. For example – Eurocentres map (as found on the website) in the background and the video on top. b.) Menu – rather simple menu placed within header or above / below. Menu items: Homepage, Brochure, FAQ, Contact Us. Plus a search box. c.) Main content area – below the header there should be the main content area where the actual blog posts will appear. Each post should have a header with a big-font title + date and smaller font additional info: category, author, etc. + content below. Also there shoudl be an image nicely fitted within the post. The posts should be shown as teasers only and the number of posts should be limited to 4-5 (so there is still a place for the footer and the page is not too long) d.) Sidebar – we would also like to have a sidebar on the left or right, where we can put standard blog widgets, such as tags, categories, Facebook box or custom info / graphics. Contact details – phone number, email address and links to social media – facebook, twitter, youtube. e.) Footer – A rectangular or semi-rectangular, preferably red container with links on one side and newsletter signup box on the other (graphic without the input field is fine). The footer can have a semi transparent big circle logo in the background for example. If you decide to design a taller header we will need another page, exactly the same, but without the big header (video) for standard posts / pages. Style/theme ideas for the website Consistent with our main website - www.eurocentres.com (but a bit more dynamic, slick, young as this is a blog for young adults), facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/eurocentres) and Eurocentres promo video (http://vimeo.com/46394183). Use our logo (black-red-white dot) quite often. What to avoid Boring designs Inspirational websites www.eurocentres.com www.gereports.com/ Clean design, good layout. vimeo.com/46394183 Eurocentres Video (draft) www.facebook.com/eurocentres Eurocentres Fanpage Notes Design Guide attached, the design does not have to follow all the guidelines strictly, we would like to have a slick and dynamic graphics, yet consistent with our guide.
