Iron Mountain International is currently recruiting Data Centre Specialists (Inventory Management Operatives) on a one year fixed term contract, based at one of our modern data centres in Belvedere, Greater London. Reporting into the Project Manager the successful candidates will be providing a key operational service reviewing client’s documents for further storage in line with the client’s specifications. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES… Understand and utilise Iron Mountain inbound and outbound procedures to retrieve, process information from the client`s order onto Inventory management Systems utilising handheld scanning equipment (PDT). Ensure Client assets (Files, Boxes, Crates) are suitably protected in accordance with the client specifications i.e. stacked correctly & sensitive / delicate information must be securely wrapped/strapped Highlight any damaged boxes where appropriate Check jobs on the system at regular intervals during the day and prioritise requests according to cut off times. Ensure that all assets (Files, Boxes, Crates) the site receives are processed accurately and boxes are put away within specified timescales. High level of integrity Good verbal and written communication skills Basic IT skills (Training is provided for our handheld scanning equipment) Previous experience of working within records management or Data Protection would be advantageous but not essential. Existing (SC) or Higher Security Clearance is also advantageous but not essential.
