The UX Designer candidate must have a fundamental understanding of user and business centered GUI design, knowledge of information design, creative identity design, interactive design, site structure, and the latest interactive design, multimedia production and HTML/CSS tools. Candidate must be familiar with the current design and technology trends and methodologies. Candidate must work well under tight deadlines. The UX Designer employs a combination of outstanding creative design ability and advanced technical skills to drive innovation across multiple platforms and develops pioneering art and graphic solutions to support web-based projects. The candidate should find ways to include rich media techniques into creative solutions and stay on top of emerging technologies and latest web trends. The candidate should have the ability to formulate story boards from requirements and to work from storyboards, layouts or concepts, and execute visually beautiful work. The Multimedia Designer should have a good understanding of information design and software development environment and have the ability to take projects from concept to completion. The candidate must be proficient with wire framing tools, Photoshop and must possess experience with HTML, CSS and be very capable of producing cross-browser, cross-platform, modular and reusable code. The candidate should possesses knowledge of each browser's quirks and is able to create websites and application prototypes that appear and work well on equipment ranging from a Mac computers to Windows-based PCs. Experience or knowledge of web 2.0 JavaScript libraries a plus. The UX Designer candidate must show initiative, be reliable and able to take responsibility. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are necessary. - 3+ years of production-quality web development experience working with large-scale sites and expert skills in HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and using them together as AJAX - Strong working knowledge of with JavaScript, JQuery, Dojo Foundation Toolkit - Candidate must possess a strong command of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and various web-related optimization techniques - Ability to translate Photoshop comps into web pages and working prototypes If you are interested in cutting-edge web technologies and if you consider yourself a star UX designer, we want to hear from you.
