PeopleSoft Developer
Must have: Global Payroll, Absence Management (someone with global payroll should have this as they go together). Time and Labor (would be a plus and ideal for this person to have this with the global and absence management). Will accept techno/functional candidates that have more functional skills then technical. Must be able to communicate efficiently with the business users. The skills required for this position are: •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Ability to Multi-task •Desire to work in a fast- paced, dynamic environment •Business knowledge of a complex ERP (ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING) solution, PeopleSoft strongly preferred) with solid understanding of payroll and billing • Well-organized Technical skills required for this position: •Ability to interpret requirements data, map current and future state business processes •Ability to develop plans addressing functional gaps between PeopleSoft and the redesigned processes •Implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements •Ability to translate customer needs and business requirements into features, functions, products and services deliverable through PeopleSoft application •Ability to interact with the business users to describe and demonstrate system functionality and to design applicable customized solutions •Ability to create and review functional and business requirements documents •Possess the skills to collaborate with technical developers to design work modules in conjunction with functional specifications •Possess configuration and set up knowledge for PeopleSoft HCM modules •Ability to develop and review test strategies, test plans and test scripts •Experience and skills to conduct and participate in end to end system testing including the communication and coordination with development team on bug fixes •Ability to recommend best practices in application configuration including the PeopleSoft modules of Global Payroll and Absence Management. Familiarity with Time & Labor, HR, NA Payroll, Benefits, •Responsible for activities such as, but not limited to: •Provide status updates and input on IT budget plans •Lead and/or provide work direction to other employees/contractors •May provide input to performance and development plans •May be responsible for mentoring and training of various levels of employees Required skills: •Knowledge of PeopleSoft tables included in HCM modules •Extensive knowledge with HCM modules, Global Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits and Absence Management. North American payroll knowledge is a plus •Hands on functional and configuration knowledge to address business rules, setup tables and security requirements •Experience must include either full life cycle implementation or upgrade experience •Experience in assisting in creation of functional and business requirements, design documents, security design, training materials, test scripts, etc •Solid understanding of integration points within HCM modules and with FIN modules •Query writing skills •Ability to interact effectively with non-technical, functional user community and resolve data and application issues •Analytical/troubleshooting skills and production support experience Useful experience may include: •Knowledge of staffing/pay bill environment •Knowledge of integrated third party applications or service providers •nVision report creation/modification •HP Quality Center Desirable qualifications and experience: •Bachelor degree, masters degree preferred •10+ years experience with PeopleSoft •5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM configuration experience Keywords: Information Technology
