Reporting directly to the VP of Software Engineering, you will be developing, maintaining, testing, and documenting applications primarily using but not limited to Microsoft .NET, ASP .NET, and C# technologies that supports end users. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop enterprise applications using but not limited to Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, and C# - Perform analysis, design requirements, construct technical solutions - Perform unit and integration testing, and document systems - Participate in code reviews - Participate in the complete software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, TDD and XP. - Create technical artifacts using Microsoft Office, Visio, Visual Studio 2010, TFS and other modeling tools - Create builds for software releases for quality assurance and end user acceptance testing. - Work with IT support and other functions to resolve issues in releases - Use and improve established software development frameworks, standards and processes while working on products QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years experience in software development - Demonstrated working knowledge on software processes such as Unit testing, source control management, code generation, change management, defect tracking and continuous integration - Thorough understanding of 3-tiered web-based applications built on a Microsoft .Net/SQL Server platform - Experience with XML, REST, SOAP, SOA methodologies, and web services desired - Experience developing for a high volume, highly secure, business critical, 99.9% uptime web application preferred - Working knowledge of UML concepts and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD - Prior experience on mobile technologies and application such as iOS and Android etc. is a plus - Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work on different technologies based on market trends and needs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills EDUCATION/TRAINING: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience Desired Skills: Microsoft Visual Studio SQL .NET ASP.NET C# Keywords: Software Application
