We need this person to be trained and matured into an architect role here. • This position will be responsible for all aspects of technology including the high-level architectural design, construction, reconstruction and refactoring, technology standardization,  and modernization utilizing the C# language in the .NET Platform.  Provide support to existing user base and customer community for the purposes of problem correction and system enhancement. • Hands-on .NET C# programming.  Manage and grow the development group technical prowess.  Create time and resource estimations and milestones.  Assist in system architecture and coding.  Test, debug, and deploy dynamic integration features. Work with product management to define feature sets and time estimations/costs.  Interface with external partners.  Create design documents for engineers.  Develop quick, functional prototypes to demonstrate proof of concepts and to enable rapid iterative testing of design ideas.  Work closely with Customer Service and the Quality Assurance Team in debugging and problem resolution.  Manage multiple, simultaneous project requests from several departments with daily release schedules while juggling larger, long-term project deadlines.  Responsible for overall quality and on time delivery of all Engineering Team projects per project timelines.  Commitment to quality.  Creation and delivery of detailed technical presentations.  Leadership of architectural alignment implementation efforts.  High-level technical consultation and developer mentoring.  Plan and implement the technical Enterprise Architecture, including both short and long term strategies for retiring targeted legacy systems, integrating existing systems and new system implementation recommendations.  Refinement, documentation and communication of architectural principles.  Oversight and guidance of new product initiatives ensuring adherence to architectural principles.  Customer Technical Resource: Serve as a technical resource and reference for new client integration, and help define appropriate customer support responses as well as dealing directly with customers on high-level issues.  Education: Encourage certification and sponsorship for higher studies.  Encourage innovative thinking.   • Employee Standard Duties: Interface with non-technical company staff at all levels effectively, Management Backup when needed, conflict resolution, Prepare written periodic reports as needed, Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, applying prioritization rules, Perform other duties as required. • Experience designing .NET C# enterprise applications with auditing, contract management, enterprise workflow, business process integration, and overall system management and support components.  Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).  Experience as a architect on inception to delivery of Microsoft based products.  Experience with deploying Microsoft based components, services, or web client applications in a high availability, clustered environment.  Expertise in the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems.  Exemplary general IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware, etc.).  Expertise and experience in lightweight, rapid development, agile methodologies.  Experience in estimating and measuring project velocity.  Experience with interaction with legacy systems and phased application integration.  Exquisite attention to detail.  Outstanding  written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills.  Sound knowledge of non-functional areas including: performance, scalability, human interaction, and software ergonomics.  Systems Analysis. • College degree in computer science, or equivalent experience required Job Qualifications/Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience developing Web Services solutions using C#/ASP.NET/ WCF • Web Technologies: HTML, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XSLT, XML, Microsoft SharePoint, Web Services • Development Tools: Visual Studio .Net 2008+, TFS • Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, SSIS • Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, N-Tier architecture, LINQ • Knowledge of Internet application architectures that leverage Web Services • Solid knowledge of site security and application performance tuning • Excellent oral and written communication skills, a teamwork-centric work style, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational skills
