Kforce is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for a Wilmington, Delaware client. Their Technology Operations Department is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed; and thrive in a fast-paced and high-visibility work environment. The QA Lead has the following experience and responsibilities: Deep knowledge of multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application This individual will be extremely technical and understand principals such as client-server; database structures, middleware / MQ technologies, J2EE, and z/OS Mainframe technologies This individual will lead cross LOB teams designing test approaches, managing the end-to-end quality life cycle of technology sponsored projects The successful Lead QA applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 7+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology 5+ years of development / testing experience in large multi-platform environments with working knowledge of associated technologies Mercury Quality Center and other similar tools Basic understanding including navigation between functional areas within the tool Ability to input or load and execute test cases and document actual results within the tool Ability to pull data from testing tools for reporting Automated test script execution and maintenance Experience creating detailed test cases / scripts for technical and/or business clients Can provide MIS and interpret results as related to a software project's 'health' and its risks
