The EnCorps Teachers Program is anonprofit organization that helps skilled professionals in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to make the transition into teaching these subjects to younger generations. We are dedicated to increasing the number of math and science teachers in low-income middle and high schools throughout California.We are working to close the achievement gap through putting passionate math and science professionals into classrooms so they can pass their knowledge on to future leaders in these industries. The EnCorps Teachers Program supports our Educators as they move through a clear career pathway, which includes tutoring, guest teaching, and preparation for full-time classroom teaching. To qualify you must be in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) profession, you must be fully eligible to work in the United States, your undergraduate GPA must be 2.50 or higher, and you must not hold a teaching credential.
