Cognitive study + brain scan, Cambridge University - approx £55
The University of Cambridge Department of Psychiatry (Addenbrooke's site) is recruiting healthy individuals, who have a brother, sister, parent or child who is alcohol-dependent, for a study which involves computer-based cognitive tasks (e.g. decision-making and reaction times) and a brain scan. It will take around 3.5 hours, and will pay approximately £55-65. If you would like to take part, then please contact us on the number or email given presently. We would need to be able to confirm your brother or sister's diagnosis, via a telephone interview. If they are willing, we would ideally like to invite them in to participate as well, although this is not strictly necessary. The study aims to improve understanding of alcohol dependence in order to improve treatment outcomes. Keywords: Job, General
