PeopleSoft HCM Developer/ Software Programmer
Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently looking for a PeopleSoft HCM Developer/ Software Programmer for our client in the Portland metro area! **Perform development and customization for functionalities within ePerformance, Health and Safety, Recruitment/Candidate Gateway and Talent Acquisition Manager, Self Service, Profile Management modules. -Qualified candidates please send an MS Word version of your resume to christine.warner@adeccona.com or call Christine Warner at (503) 535-2578 Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining applications utilizing Business Processing Management (BPM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Delegation Approval frameworks. Developing custom web services between PeopleSoft HCM and third party .NET application. Configure Integration Broker for Application Messaging and SMTP services. Defining and configuring workflow and business policies. Gather and analyze user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis, and developing prototypes. Perform development and customization for functionalities within ePerformance, Health and Safety, Recruitment/Candidate Gateway and Talent Acquisition Manager, Self Service, Profile Management modules. Design and develop application customizations utilizing application classes and AWE framework. Design and develop custom Web Services which exposes the capabilities of PeopleSoft functions using WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI. Troubleshoot workflow and integration issues between PeopleSoft suites and non-PeopleSoft applications. Design, develop and maintain integration routines between PeopleSoft and non-PeopleSoft applications. Provide technical support in production environments. This includes troubleshooting reported issues and system architectures to include data management, network management, and overall client architectures as it relates to the PeopleSoft environments. Perform fit-gap analysis and propose implementation approaches. Develop requirement documents, configuration documents, design documents, technical specification documents, knowledge transfer & training documents. Research new and emerging technologies to determine their applicability to application development and maintenance, and in support of the needs of operations. Position Requirements Experience with computer source code using the grammar and syntax of a programming language and tool to achieve an algorithmic design. Experience with code, test, configure and maintain various vendor and in-house applications using the software tools provided with the PeopleSoft Version 9.0 or higher package. Ability to understand a client’s business quickly and translate that understanding into a well-designed IT solution. Carry out assigned tasks with a professional demeanor reflected in excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, patience, analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities. Ability to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables and provide timely (weekly) status updates. Communicate functional and technical information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users. Provide a sustainable IT infrastructure by supplying cross training and functional documentation. Provide on-call and backup support for existing systems and functions. Understand and follow established processes and procedures including change management procedure, work tracking and time management. Good communication skills Good team player Knowledge of: PeopleSoft Technical PeopleTool 8.50 certification Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 functionalities within ePerformance, Health and Safety, Recruitment/Candidate Gateway and Talent Acquisition Manager, Self Service, Profile Management. Working experience using PeopleCode Application Class. Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills. Should be able to provide accurate problem analysis to the client and follow up with documentation.
