PeopleSoft Developer Position Type: Fulltime Location: New York City, NY Required Skills Our client has a vacancy for a PeopleSoft Developer to support ongoing production maintenance and the implementation of expanded functionality of the HR and Benefits functions of PeopleSoft HRMS . S/he will work closely with the Project Manager, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, Test Lead and key business partners to design, develop, unit test and implement product initiatives to support production, as well as work in various teams, but will need to have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. * 4+ years PeopleSoft in v. 8.8 and v. 9.0 development experience with HR, Benefits Administration, Manager Self Service and/or Workflow. * 4+ years experience with PeopleSoft development tools version 8.48. 4+ years PeopleSoft development and integration experience with upgrades and patches. * 4+ years experience developing PeopleSoft interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems. * 3+ full lifecycle PeopleSoft HR and/or Ben Admin implementation experience. * Knowledge in relation to Benefits Administration Module. * Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Database model. * Strong UNIX and Shell Scripting. * Strong knowledge of STAT tool. * Experience documenting processes for HR, Payroll and/or Benefits. * Experience working on an enterprise wide projects a must. * Excellent understanding of a systems development lifecycle methodology. * Good Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. * Certified Developer. Knowledge of VISTA Plus report distribution tool and CA Scheduler Tool. * Knowledge of mainframe environment is a plus. * Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment. * Experience working within a matrix environment.
