Our partner, a large investment services bank that with a middle office services team area in the King of Prussia PA. Area is looking to add a Securities Management Specialist. The position will support and maintain the production processing of multiple clients security master file, referential data and security valuations. The position provides daily production support of the clients securities trading process; including initial equity and fixed income security setup, valuation, mortgage factor and variable rate maintenance, credit rating and general security master file integrity. Position will interact and provide support to numerous teams and departments within the organization, including Corporate Actions, Portfolio Accounting, and Trade Settlement. Builds cooperative and professional internal/external relationships, and utilize all available resources throughout the organization, to achieving group and client goals. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Conduct high-level analysis in specific areas of expertise, identify and resolve work-processing issues, make suggestions to streamline operations. 2. Determine impact of activity to other areas. 3. Update and/or develop processes and procedures in specific area of expertise. 4. Act as an expert and provide guidance for other employees; including on-the-job training for other team members. 5. Make proactive recommendations and solutions for problem resolution. 6. Interface with senior level internal and external clients and other departments on complex matters and inquiries. 7. Ad-hoc reporting, including daily, weekly and monthly metrics. 8. Engage in complex special projects and assignments. 9. Cover various supervisory functions when necessary. MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting. 4 plus years related experience including 2 years in Asset Maintenance or equivalent role. Working knowledge of Domestic and International financial instruments including equity securities, corporate debt, mortgage and asset backed issues, municipal securities and all related instruments. Knowledge and/or experience in asset valuation, ratings and mortgage factor processing preferred. Detailed understanding of operations. Strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and problems solving skills. Ability to balance workload and work in a deadline oriented position. Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications.
