We are a SBA certified 8a and have an approved GSA Schedule 70 and STARS II contract vehicles. For an on going project with USAF we are looking for a Sr Java developer. Given the nature of the task only US citizens need apply. Any active NAC / Secret clearance will be a great asset. The resource needs to have Excellent knowledge of the Java language its classes and state-of-the-art development environment and development and testing tools. The Java Programmer is an adept of Automated Testing, Build Automation and skilled in the use of the Eclipse Java interactive Development Environment and automated build tools. The Java Programmer is also skilled in the development and testing of Web Applications The Java Programmer use with clarity of understanding persistent framework, relational database technology and is able to integrate COTS and GOTS software into an advanced, testable and reliable system. Under the direction of the project Lead Programmer, the Java programmer will be responsible for detailed design, coding, unit and system testing and documentation tasks. Skills needed are Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Java Language, Java Classes, JUnit, Maven, Eclipse, Oracle, Adobe Flex, IBM WebSphere Application Server, XML, ERWin, SQL, Apache, Tomcat, Software Design Patterns, Test Driven development practices. Knowledge of a Business Intelligence tool is a strong plus (Business Object, Cognos) Ability to design subsystems and classes. Ability to work effectively in interactive requirement and design sessions. Takes direction constructively. Ability to structure, compose and maintain documentation developed for government software deliverables. Understanding of the software development life-cycle management in a Government environment as well as in an Agile development environment. Excellent writing and communication skills.
