Our client is seeking Medical Device Prototype Mechanical Assemblers for Direct Positions in Palo Alto. * Must have skills and experience doing low volume, high complexity electromechanical assembly * Duties: * Will follow manual assembly of complex electronic and mechanical components. * Run automatic production equipment. * Follow detailed assembly and manufacturing procedures. * Must be able to perform repair tasks and electro-mechanical assembly according to specs and procedures. * Perform routine device testing and troubleshooting of high precision devices and components. * Follow GMP practices per company operating procedures. * Maintain and operate automated production equipment per SOP's. * Keep a logbook of all parts used for electronic assembly, sub-assembly and maintenance work. * Clean and organize workbenches before and after shift. Requirements: * Have three plus years experience in assembly of precision components and devices. * Have a background working with analytical instrumentation. * Have good verbal and written communication skills. * Experience assembling medical devices is a plus. * Have a strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills and attention to detail. * Knowledge of electronic cabling and hand soldering techniques is a plus. * Be self directed in a fast paced environment. * Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies and procedures. * Be skilled in documenting activities, maintaining records and using a PC. * These opportunities are available immediately!
