Pay rate: $20-$25 Job Description- Repurpose technical training materials into substantive value-add emails for end-users of an electrical products manufacturer. The target audience is technical but not scientific, and the content must both explain as well as promote both products and the applications they are used for. Project management will be provided. Copy must be at the 7th grade level: clear, direct, and easily understood. The position’s objective is to write several dozen outbound communications per day, with a minimum of re-writing. No direct communication with end-users is involved. Writer will sit in house as be part of a larger team in a professional environment, but must be able to work independently. Requirements: 1+ year experience in copy writing, web content writing, or technical writing Strong grammatical and proofreading skills, attention to detail Aptitude for reading and comprehending technical material Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise communications Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
