Job Title: Java Developer Type: 5 year Contract Location: Roslyn, VA Job Description: We are looking for a senior level Java / J2EE developer to join fast paced development team. It is an exciting opportunity to work on a large scale data intensive web application for a Federal Agency. Duties will include working with the development team in analysis, design, system development, implementation and testing. Required Experience: 4+ years as Developer on a large enterprise web application. 4+ years of database centric application development 4+ years of in depth experience with SQL and analyzing database queries 4+ years of strong server side Java / J2EE development 3+ years of Spring development 2+ years of IBatis or other O-R mapping tools experience 2+ years of development using Eclipse IDE or some other IDE Skills: JAVA, J2EE, Sun One Application Server, Sybase, Oracle. JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring framework. Serena Dimension or other version control systems. Quality Center or other requirements/test tracking systems. Work with the development team in design, development, build and deployment. Assist the technical lead with estimating, tracking and reporting. Participate in requirements / test case / other reviews. Mentor other the development team members in web development, test practices, OO design, and J2EE architecture. Assist with automated builds, installation, migration, performance tuning; archiving; providing reporting capabilities; troubleshooting the problems for users, developers and web administrators; coding of applications managing security archiving; etc. Education: B.S/M.S Computer Science preferred Sun Certified Java Programmer
