Position Title: SAP Data Migration Analyst Client: Direct Project Location: New York Start Date: 6/25/2012 Duration of Role in Months: 6 SAP Functionality: ECC Core Note: Local or Relocation Role Description: • Highly motivated, client facing self-starter with SAP expertise in the areas of SAP Data Migration, LSMW and other SAP load program development - This is not a Technical Role - ABAP Programming expertise not required. • Ability to translate business requirements into steps to manipulate data using non-standard tools such as Excel, Notepad, and to a lesser degree SQL and place them in a usable load program format • Experience of loading data into SAP and the expertise to troubleshoot errors encountered with LSMW, BDC, idocs, bdocs and other load methods to include error identification and resolution • Ability to interact with the business and explain technical and data issues in a non-technical manner and work with them to resolve issues • Familiarity with translation tables / cross references in SAP LSMWs and understanding of the concepts of preprocessing and optimizing load files and load timings • Comfortable in a high paced, fluid environment while juggling multiple priorities at the same time • Strong communication skills, ability to contribute to a highly skilled team and share the workload are essential. • Strong skills in Excel, SAP and experience loading data in SAP FICO and SD would be ideal • Functional knowledge in FI/CO and SD a significant advantage
