Allied Resources Staffing Consultants has an opening for an Electrical Panel Design Engineer with a Manufacturing Facility Northwest of Baltimore, MD. Minimum Qualifications: BS degree in electrical engineering 1-3 years of experience in a relatable electrical field. Strong interest in control systems. Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. Experience with Autocad or Autocad Electrical, and can read/develop electrical schematics. Competency in Microsoft products including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to lead a team and/or work as a member of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills. Must be tenacious with quality and customer service orientation. Knowledge of the appropriate product safety and design standards; including but not limited to UL/CSA 1995, UL508, UL508A, National Electric Code. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop proposals for production builds of electrical panels including control panels, and electrical distribution panels. Develop panel design, layout, and wire harness routing. Interface to purchasing and production personnel to provide technical information regarding panel production. Prepare complete schedules and reports for assigned projects. Achieve scheduled milestones for assigned projects. Provide technical support to the Product Planning and Support Team. (Both Marketing and Technical Service) Identify quality, productivity, and cost improvement opportunities. Effectively meet the needs of external customers.
