Our client * located in Madison, WI - has an immediate need for a very experienced Business Data Analyst that has property & casualty insurance and business experience This position is responsible for providing analytical expertise surrounding data and reporting requirements for Financial and Regulatory Reporting. An enterprise-wide perspective is necessary, including Financial, Regulatory and Product experience, a multi-divisional network of colleagues, and a strong background in property & casualty insurance. Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing knowledge is a MUST, which encompasses requirements and testing documentation, ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts, recognizing the need and the ability to explain the long-term vision of our clients business. Analyze data needs and the ability to educate users on the data available. The ability to independently generate an idea, create an execution plan and produce results is strongly desired. You must have strong Insurance Data Experience and strong knowledge of insurance industry, insurance products and coverage, and the value of customer analytics. You should also have experience and the ability to identify drivers of business results and recognize appropriate measures, and translate that information to business analytics requirements. In addition - You should also have the ability to comprehend and consolidate existing legacy reporting into business intelligence report design and have experience with statistical filing, regulatory and management level report content and fulfilling these requests Expertise in data management concepts (data warehousing, collection, storage, quality, integrity, etc.) and knowledge of policy & processing systems & their related data (Rating, 3rd Party, Customer) Ability to lead efforts to convert today’s data needs (Policy Count) to tomorrow’s needs (Coverable Count) and comprehend impact of the change Your resume MUST demonstrate experience listed in this posting.
