QA LEAD Experience with Fixed Income and Brokerage Platforms are a must The ideal candidate will be able to lead the Quality Assurance test process for a suite of Capital Markets ? Fixed Income applications, within the client Technology, Brokerage Platform. These applications support the trading of all Fixed Income, FBSI Order Processing, and International trading functionality for client’s Capital Markets organization. This role will require an experienced QA Lead, with strong business acumen, for instituting and carrying out quality assurance processes and activities in the development and implementation of all test activities. The QA Lead will represent the Fixed Income QA team in carrying out a strategy and direction to achieve key business objectives by performing the following duties: Primary Responsibilities:- -Review and understand system requirements and product specifications of Capital Market Systems, brokerage trading applications -Work closely with business partners to assure a stable and high quality product -Develop and create QA test strategies, test plans, and test cases to align with business requirements -Achieve consensus on test plans and test cases with all business partners -Assure execution of test plans and test cases to validate business and system requirements -Provide leadership in the research and resolution of system related defects -Assure approved processes are being implemented and carried out on all projects/programs -Provide timely status updates to management and business partners Education and Experience:- -Bachelor degree required -The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in the following requirements: -A background and solid understanding of Fixed Income (FI) and/or Equity trade processing - this role supports FI -Strong knowledge of trading systems -An understanding of Quality Assurance process definition, system delivery life cycle and process execution skills -Experience with QualityCenter tools -Bloombergexperience Skills and Knowledge ( a plus, not required):-- -Strong technical skills across mainframe and distributed applications. -Experience in working with multiple relational databases, Oracle -Working knowledge of Automation tools and processes, QTP a plus. -Experience with QualityCenter and ClearQuest tools -Retail or Institutional Trading experience (Series 7) -International Trading experience -Experience with back office Purchase and Sales
