SENIOR SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description: • Candidate must possess a minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience with at least 7 years SAP BASIS Portal experience. • Must have experience in installation and configuration of NWDI and NWDI Tracks. • 3 years of experience with setting up the SAP portal environment, the business packages for ESS & MSS and with implementing standard ESS and MSS IViews. • Good communication and presentations skill a must. • At least three demonstrated SAP Portal Full Live Cycle project implementations in upgrading SAP Portal EP and BI to 7.x. • Candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills regarding basis issues and SAP Support. • Must have experience with Oracle and MSQL databases. • Experience on J2EE stack and web technologies like HTML, cookies and session management. • Must have experience with pre and post-upgrade cutover tasks for Basis and security. • Good interpersonal skills to assist with communications with IT and Business staff and their management who are working under tight deadlines and considerable pressure. • Must know how to apply latest kernel patches and support packages. • Must provide Project Plan and meet schedule. • SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) installation and administration, and Portal support including SLD. • Must have strong skills in leadership, negotiation, facilitation, communication, mentoring, marketing, training, business process improvement, and resource management. • Must be a self-starter. • Must be proficient in Solution Manager for the upgrade and other SAP upgrade tools and procedures.
