Volt is seeking a NOC Supervisor/Manager who will lead the day to day operations for the transport network repair team. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the National Repair Center, including supervising carrier team leads and around 15 carrier Techs, managing adherence to process documentation, resolving customer issues, and providing leadership and vision for the teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Resolves on-going Repair issues and escalations. Manages daily ticket volume while driving center SLA's. Manages all repair issues, to include EOC, DS1's, DS3's, OC, and Switch translations. Supervises technical staff to ensure that all services are performed to meet quality objectives. Handles escalations from NRC Techs and team leads; provides oversight and drives accountability for all escalations. Manages relationship with internal departments (i.e. Field Ops, Service Delivery). Manages staff performance via clearly defined performance objectives, development coaching, and performance plans. Participates in Repair staff meetings, creates & produces MTTR stats, and notifies Sr. Manager of outstanding issues/inability to resolve outages. Maintains professional composure when working with customers and colleagues on Repair tickets/calls and escalations. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated technical communications and documentation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of data networking, IP routing, and Ethernet; understanding of long haul transport technology (i.e. DWDM, Sonet¡K).
