BI Developer Location: Glendale CA 91203 Term: Contract to Hire What you’ll do: · Work with project lead and business users to gather requirements, conduct analysis and prepare specifications. · Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications. · Contribute to and support the organization’s Business Intelligence strategy. · Development and implementation of tactical and strategic data warehousing solutions including corporate Data Warehouse. · Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plans. · Design and implement multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Data View, Dimensions, and Cubes while adhering to enforced development methodologies. · Design and implement reporting applications including (but not limited to) BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports. · Convert existing reporting tools to a standardized reporting infrastructure using SQL and Microsoft products. · Design and implement required interfaces for the data warehouse including to BI tools and other applications used by the business. · Design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the DW/BI environment. Qualifications: · Must have strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 including. · 5+ years of experience in T-SQL Programming. · 4+ years of experience in SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS). · SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). · SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). · 3+ years of experience in gathering requirements and preparing specifications. · 8+ years of experience in entire Software development process. · Data modeling expertise in an enterprise data-warehousing environment. · Strong experience building extract, transformation, and load processes to convert operational transactional data into dimensions and fact tables. · Experienced in developing Business Intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, and MDX in a data warehousing environment. · CS degree Warm Regards, Aswin Technical Recruiter Tentek Inc Email: aswin@tentek.com Ph: 703-665-4483
