TEKsystems is actively searching for an Infrastructure PM to sit on-site in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract-to-hire position. Candidates MUST have PMP, Infrastructure experience, and Middleware experience to be considered. Seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a Middleware and Utilities Core Infrastructure software team. This Project Manager will be responsible for the management of multiple middleware technical project(s) or program teams from initiation through implementation. Six plus years of project management experience. - The selected Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering infrastructure type projects that include middleware related distributed and mainframe hardware / software upgrades, network installations and upgrades - Project planning, analysis, design development, and implementation - Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines - Integrate project plans into Program Plans - Establish roles and responsibilities within the core program team - Allocate and coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors, and consultants) across one or more projects - Manage the budget for assigned project(s); develop and monitor project / program plan(s); and adjust resources and priorities accordingly - Align the business unit, application development teams, business aligned teams and core support organizations - Establish a program communication plan across the businesses, application development, business aligned teams and core inf rastructure support and technology groups - Prepare and present progress reports for senior management The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): - Intimately familiar with MS Office and MS Project. Familiarity with the Clarity software package would be considered a plus. - Protocols: MS Project and Project Management ( 6+ years of experience) - PMP certification - Knowledge of IT Infrastructure - Experience managing IT Infrastructure Projects - Excellent organization and communication skills (both written and verbal), team player, self-motivated, requiring minimal direction, excellent work ethic, open to learning new technologies, forward and strategic thinking.
