Software Engineer (Embedded C, Linux) - Yorkshire - �28-34 p/h My client based in Yorkshire has a new opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join on a contract basis for an initial 6 months. The client is an award winning provider to the public sector and prides themselves on developing cutting edge products. You will be working on the development of new safety and quality critical products that have to operate on a 24 hour basis without fail. The successful candidate will join an established R+D team working on the design, development and debugging of key products, whilst also working closely with the test team. Key Skills: -Embedded C programming -Embedded Linux, WindowsCE, Linux -Real Time Applications (RTOS) - Knowledge of C++, JavaScript, HTML, Pythin, SQL -IP and Ethernet -Problems Solving and Analysis skills It will be highly beneficial if you have worked on 24 hour emergency products in the past which have strong safety measures. As mentioned this is a 6 month contract with possibility of extension.
