The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling the activities of complex IT infrastructure projects to ensure that project deliverables are provided on time, within budget. This position is located in Roseland, New Jersey. Main Duties: Utilizes industry-accepted project management principles and firm-established project management tools and processes to direct project teams in the definition, planning and execution of complex long-term projects crossing multiple disciplines and geographies Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allocation of resources Works with project customers, project sponsors, business analysts, customer relationship managers, and project team members in the planning and execution of large-scale IT projects Work closely with end users, business technologists, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs Coordinate with other project resources such as customer IT staff, infrastructure provider, service teams, documentation teams, test teams etc Utilizes industry-accepted methodologies and processes to bring projects in on schedule, within budget, and to the customer's requirements Responsible for identifying and managing project risk factors, negotiating and implementing customer change requests, and tracking and reporting project progress Qualifications: Must have experience managing network and voice projects, including but not limited to building out network/voice infrastructure at existing or new company sites. Must have experience working within a large Data Center environment and interactions with other technology groups (ie hosting, database, etc)
