The search engine is algorithmic, providing instant answers, features, sidebars, and search engine results. They need someone who can provide editorial influence, analysis of the quality of search engine results, actions to improve them and work with other teams to make things better. Editorial judgment is critical, as is the ability to use lots of tools. Other key skills for this position are key wording, analysis, judgment for user intent, and optimizing for user intent.
