Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Network Engineer to support our client in St. Louis, MO. Job Overview: The Network Engineer designs, installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains business critical systems vital to daily operations. He / she must adhere to the company SLA for both system uptime and customer response. This position reports to the Network Operations Manager. Job Responsibilities: - Installation and configuration of network devices (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, WAN optimization, Wireless Access Points) for new and relocated client job sites and offices. - Installation and configuration of VOIP phone equipment for new and relocated client job sites and offices. - Installation and configuration of security platforms involving the wired and wireless network (end point security, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, VPN) . - Installation and configuration of VPN devices. - Maintenance of network and security devices to include upgrades, patching, user accounts and general administration. - Monitoring of network, VOIP and security device logs and real time statistics. - Coordination with outside vendors in support of network, VOIP and security equipment and private network circuits. - Design, installation and configuration of Unified Communications platforms. - Level 2 and 3 support for network devices and circuits. - Level 2 and 3 support for VOIP phone system. - Level 2 and 3 support for Security Platforms. - Level 2 and 3 support for Unified Communications platforms. - Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, design, implementation and change management. - Documentation of all areas of responsibility. Job Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of Cisco lOS. - Knowledge HP Procurve Switches. - A two to four year technical degree in Network Services or equivalent work experience. Preferred Job Skills / Certifications / Knowledge: - Knowledge of Juniper Firewalls. - Knowledge of Riverbed WAN optimization devices. - Knowledge of Cisco VOIP platforms. - Familiarity with Palo Alto security systems. - Familiarity with HP MSM Wireless access points. - Cisco Certification / Training. - HP Certification / Training. - Juniper Certification / Training. - Riverbed Certification / Training. - Palo Alto Certification / Training.
