Knowledge/Skills MS Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0/7.0: Extensive experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting & customizing platform MS Office SharePoint (MOSS) 2007 (ideally 2010 experience): Extensive experience functioning as Farm Administrator & customizing IIS, SharePoint platform-wide settings MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008: Administration experience and knowledge of key System Admin/DBA functions w/ability to perform ad hoc queries (plus) Windows Operating System: Advanced comprehension of Windows OS (2003/2008) and how it impacts platform applications (IIS) that it hosts .NET Technologies: Advanced comprehension of how the .NET Framework operates & how to perform Framework administrative tasks (not a programmer) but can debug Search & Retrieval: Advanced comprehension with one or more enterprise Search products, such as Autonomy, Google, MS Office Server Search (plus) Ancillary Infrastructure: Advanced comprehension of server platforms, SANs, enterprise backup, load-balancers, file replication & monitoring Web Single Sign-On: Familiarity with one or more enterprise Web Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, such as CA Netegrity, Oblix, or RSA (or similar) Core Networking: Basic understanding of Networking, Firewalls, TCP/IP, & Application Firewalls Proven track record of troubleshooting, supporting and deploying web applications in large scale Intranet/Extranet/Internet environments comprising multiple, disparate systems Proven ability to manage and customize all aspects of IIS 6.0/7.0, including, security, logging, features, Application Pools, and ISAPI/CGI components Proven ability to manage a distributed MS Office SharePoint Farm, including all enterprise-wide functions & features Able to configure/troubleshoot ODBC data sources for SQL Server, Access, Oracle & Sybase establish database connections, verify database functionality Able to administer High Availability Web components, including hardware load-balancing, Cluster services & File Replication Able to troubleshoot TCP/IP & Network problems in a distributed, complex server environment (reverse proxy/hardware load-balancing/data clustering) Able to perform administrative backup & restore tasks for SharePoint with DocAve Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters degree a plus 8 years experience working in high stress Web environment in the Web Engineer function Certifications (MCP/MCSE/MCSD) a plus
